This exciting ride will take us into the heart of the Rhondda Valley will take place on Sunday, 29th May and will include a private film and talk on the Rhonnda Tunnel Society by guest speaker Stephen Mackey.
Many of you may have read in the media of the Society’s plan to reconnect the Rhondda and Afan Valleys via the longest cycling & pedestrian tunnel in Europe – the 2nd longest in the World!
Now is your chance to hear all about these exciting plans for yourself, whilst expriencing the stunning views of both valleys on your bike.
The ride is going to be hosted by Tracey Caplin and Anne Joseph, whom will be assisted by Action Bikes Cycling Club captains and will be utilising the Sarn Helen Cycle Events support vehicle and staff.
This 55 mile ride is open for all abilities if you are a regular rider.
Sarn Helen Events will provide food, drinks (but NOT lunch) and rider support on the day for just £10, with all proceeds going towards Tracey and Anne’s chosen charity for the Paris 2 Amsterdam Charity Bike Ride later this year.
We are expecting everybody to meet at 08.00am at the Virgin Active Glamorgan club in Llandarcy in readiness for a prompt departure. The meeting point post code is SA10 6GZ.
